You read that right—we fix stuff free of charge! So, what’s the catch? There isn’t one! Our talented team of volunteer fixers are passionate about giving back to the community and helping the planet by keeping things out of landfill or incineration.

When you visit one of our Repair Cafés, you’ll be paired with a fixer, enjoy some tea and a bun, and have a friendly chat while your item is getting fixed. A Repair Café is all about connecting with others over a cup of tea and sharing stories and ideas. It’s what community repair is all about!

We currently operate two Repair Cafés each month: one in the Derry/Londonderry area and one in the Strabane area. Every month, we set up in a different venue and fix as much as we can in two hours. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to arrive early to have your item looked at. While we can’t guarantee a fix for every item, our skilled volunteers always try their best.
